Hey there!

 

Hi. I’m Tracee Eisenberg. Welcome to Tracee Talks. I’m 29 years old (for the twentieth year in a row), mother of four + three dogs, and writer of a bunch, living in Colorado.

 

This blog has been in the making for quite a while. I launched a different variation before this revamped version when my kids became old enough for me to finally breathe. I decided to branch out with other topics, stories and issues that relate to whatever is going on in my life or just what makes me say “Hmm?” in the moment.

 

I started my blog because I had so much to share about being a parent, surviving a divorce and just life itself. I find myself talking to my friends, spouse, and children about what is going on in the moment. I like sharing and making it relatable to someone else and what they might be dealing with. I was once told I am a chronic over-sharer. At first, I was offended, and then I thought about it. I realized that the reason I share about my life is so I won’t feel alone.  

 

And so, as a wannabe writer, I did what I always did when I felt alone or afraid or worried. I wrote and talked about it. Out loud to myself. Or to anyone who would listen or also felt lost. 

 

It meant so much to me to be able to share and find other people who could relate. Just talking about things was like free therapy, even if no one talked back. It was like freeing my heart and soul and brought me a sigh of relief. 

 

I look back at the beginning stages of my “starter” blog and how limited it was, but how powerful it was to be real. It began with a small following and has slowly gained more admirers, but not quite enough. I need to branch out and explore some other ideas and ways to reach a wider audience. 

 

So, this is where I am today. Improving my blog. Branching out. Continuing to be real. Sharing my successes and failures. Thinking. Questioning. Learning. Likes and dislikes. Embracing this next stage.
